I wouldn't worry about your mistake in fact practically every travel video has at least one serious mistake somewhere in their commentary, I could spend my whole life correcting them. Some very popular ones are riddled with mistakes as the commentator just makes a casual comment and doesn't check it on the internet.
I have been watching travel videos for nearly 50 years. Also I have been to Stratford station and Stratford international and the area over the years as it has gradually been developed. I have also travelled on the North London line a lot.

There isn't a link to the North London line. That link you saw going northwards doesn't connect to it but I believe goes to to a train depot.
