This reminds me of the "Canada line isn't SkyTrain" debates that I've had. Yes, technically it's operated by a separate company, but to the vast majority of riders there is no functional difference. It's a part of the Skytrain network!
I think you can probably imagine I have had this exact discussion! It's *exactly* what I am talking about!
Functionally the only time we need to differentiate these two "subsystems" is when buying trains, or doing operations and maintenance. Station finishings, service standards, and certainly passenger information should clearly be completely unified!
