There are some old industrial buildings from the sites former use as a soap factory on the site, these are currently being removed so development can start!
Honestly, with the time it is taking to build the Ontario line, I think many residents and commercial users will move in before it opens. If I am wrong, it will be nice for the residents to have transit right as they move in.
I don't think it will be that fast, I don't expect actual major development to start for a few years and the site is big so completion is probably over a decade away
